Many a man has been deceived who has made his choice of a wife by her outward beauty and glamour alone. Physical beauty in a woman is only skin deep and will eventually fade away as she ages.
But the fear of God reigning in her heart is the true beauty of the soul; it lasts forever. Better to marry a woman that’s not so glamourous, yet has great wisdom and goodness, the law of love and kindness written in her heart.
No matter what she may look like or what worldly riches she may have, a woman’s commitment to God is the true beauty that is to be praised, and what matters in a good wife.
